Day 6 of our holiday was fantastic. We caught the cable car from Mount
Faber over to Sentosa for the day to visit Universal Studios! What a day, it was
absolutely fantastic! The first few photos are from late last night at China Town, but the
rest are from Today. All of the photos were again taken with the old Sony Mavica FD-92
Floppy Disk Camera, which really performs better than I expected.
We got the fast pass at Universal Studio, and although I was hesitant,
it was well worth it, despite the cost. It meant that we skipped all the lines to the very
front each and every time, and we got to try every ride in about 7 hours, which saved us
heaps of waiting. I think you would need two days here without the fast pass and it would
be super frustrating!
The transformers ride was absolutely awesome. It actually felt like we
were really in the movie and I was most impressed with the feeling of speed! You get
squirted with water, gusts of wind blow over you and you feel the G forces on a 3d axis,
it's pretty amazing! The other two roller coaster rides there were absolutely
amazing too!
I wasn't really able to take any photos on the rides. On most of the
rides, they are just too fast to take cameras on them and i'd feel horrible if my
camera or phone when flying and lodged in someone's head! So I respected the rules. It's
well worth the visit though, as long as you can handle lots of stairs!
