This was my trip to Albany in 2025. We traveled
throught the South West of Western Australia with myself and my partner Anthony. We took
my 2008 BMW 325i which has been on many journies over the years with us.

This is the Hilton Garden Inn Hotelin Albany. The
hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, along with being stylish.

On our journey, the weather was very very cold, we
went in mid July and there was hail and ice forming on the car through sections. We were
hoping to find snow on the top of Bluff Knoll. We were very close but there was no actual
snow, just blizzard like winds!

This is the view approaching and climbing Bluff
Knoll. For those of you who don't know, Bluff Knoll is a mountain range in Western
Australia. It is locaed in the Stirling Range National Park and is around a 6 ish KM
return hike. There are a lot of stairs here, we were fine but if you have bad knees, it
would be wise to very seriously consider if this is the hike for you.
BLuff Knoll is the highest peak in Western Australia.
I might mention that the Gatorade bottle in the photo is ours and we did
take the bottle with us on the hike, and we didn't leave it there!
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany. It was
really a fantastic experience. The pancakes from the automated pancake machine were one of
my favourite memories from the hotel.
