Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Departure

These are our meals on the flight. I had the low fat meal (meal 1) and Anthony had the Seafood meal (meal 2). I thought both were tasty but Anthony wasn't a fan of his meal.

Our meals came out within the first 40 minutes of the flight and even came with metal cutlery!

This is the Jewel at Changi Airport. The whole airport is absolutely amazing beyone belief and well worth the visit alone!

The atmosphere in the airport is just beyond beleif!

This is the Alkaff Bridge in Singapore. We have crossed this a few times already traveling to Chinatown and our hotel. 

This is the view looking down the stairs in Chinatown on Pagoda Street. We had a great dinner tonight at a resturant called Oriental Food Pagoda Street. The staff were very friendly and it was a all out good experience. The price of food in Singapore in 2026 is roughly 1/3 of the price of food in Perth, Western Australia, even when accounting for the exchange rate. For example, a chicken and rice meal in East Victoria Park would average around $22, where in Singapore a similar meal would be around $8 SGD.
