Singapore
2026 Page 4
Day 4 started out very well, we went to the Singapore Zoo, we walked to
the station and Anthony had his first Bacon and Egg McMuffin with a hash brown from the
combined McDonalds and Shell Service Station. I personally think it's a great
idea combining them. The day was going well, but disaster for the camera was soon to
strike!
I took the opportunity to take a photo of the fuel bowser to see the
fuel prices in Singapore. On 14/03/2026 the Shell V-Power 98 Octane was $4.14/L, Fuel
Saver 98 was $3.92 and Fuel Saver 95 was $3.40/l. Diesel was $3.49/L. Interestingly, there
is no 91 RON option here and a Fuel Saver blend and a V-Power blend. I don't know
what the difference is.
The first two pictures were the last pictures my gorgeous Sony DSC-P100
took. I dropped the camera from knee height and the lens snapped off, never to be
economically saved again unfortunately. The camera is still good for other spare parts
though, which is great news, but otherwise, she is done :(. Above is the
picture that Anthony purchased of me and him at the top of Marina bay Sands!
The remainder of the images on this page were taken on my Apple iPhone
16. Can you tell the difference between a ancient camera and a current smartphone?
